Local Schools in Pully or Morges

Hi All,

Does anyone have any insight into the local schools in the towns of either Pully or Morges? Are they known as being good/variable etc? Are they large classes and large schools? We did not see or view any local schools when I spent a few days in Switz last week but the Pully one (someone pointed it out) looked large.

I know that many local schools are good although I have met a few friends whose children have not have great experiences though they were closer to Geneva/Nyon area. Bullying was the issue.

My preference is for small school and classes but I don't know how to check this info with respect to these towns - I know the local edu Vaud site doesn't have these details to hand.

Thank you.
M

Re: Local Schools in Pully or Morges

Size of classes is always more or less the same, around 20 kids per class. This won't change wherever you go.

As a teacher myself, I taught in Pully (as well as other places) and I must say they are excellent there. I wouldn't hesitate one second to send my kids there. I actually live close-by, in Lutry, and I'm also very satisfied with school there.

I don't have direct knowledge of Morges, so can't compare. But I wouldn't worry. Both towns are wealthy, which means more fundings for schools.
