i'm not interested in extra french lessons, i need the extra money more than anything as my pay from my family isn't a huge amount (expected) thanks for your suggestions
"The minimum salary is set to be between Fr.600.- to Fr. 800.- per month (depending on canton)."

I hope it falls within that range. If not they're breaking the law.

she didn't charge, she had them in exchange for extra french lessons.
I suggest you trade in your english lessons and LOLs for some capital letters and punctuation. It's a win-win trade.

Excellent idea- why not exchange for something you need/want. I have several students on that basis.

Mind you, this is how I started to teach- asked by neighbours to help out- and they put money in the local charity tin- then I volunteered as a French assistant for a local 6th Form college, followed by doing a Bachelor of Education Hons Degree and teaching in local schools. As you are not qualified or experienced, you can't ask for large sums- but maybe 20/25CHF.
Baby sitters in Zurich charge more than CHF20/25 an hour *per* child.

You can ask for as much as you think the parent is willing to pay.

If you were to do this for 25 an hour, you'd be a mug.
