Deutsch als Fremdsprache [German as a foreign language] for Children

Can anyone guide me to a local website that provides information on tutors who teach German privately to children from age 7?

I recommend contacting the Arbeitskreis für Deutsch als Fremdsprache in der Schweiz http://akdaf.ch. We have come into contact with two excellent teachers via that route, one for OH (adult) and one for our son (12 yrs). They should be able to point you in the right direction.

Hi, I don't know whether this is of use, but most primary schools offer an integration class where children who have newly arrived in Switzerland can learn German as a second language. These are free,
