We are new in Birmensdorf, and I recently got to know I am pregnant
I would love to hear some feedbacks / experiences about the Kitas here in Birmensdorf, when it's an appropriate time to visit them and get in the list?
We'll be parents for the first time so everything seems a bit overwhelming!

Get on the list as soon as possible! Typically there is long waiting times. As for visiting, just contact them to ask if they have an open day or will do visits. Some will only do visits once you have a spot. Good idea to ask around as typically people in the village will know if a place is good or not etc

There are not many krippe in Birmensdorf. I think these two:

I would suggest visit them asap and get to the waiting list if you like them. There is a good chance after summer vacation as some kids move to kindergarten. Good luck.

There should be also tagesmutter option but personally we feel more comfortable with krippe option.

Our youngest is still in Zwergenvilla in the Weissenbrunnenstrasse. We've been very happy with them. But I do understand their waiting list is long because there isn't much choice in this town.
