Re: Job on TV Station (Video Editor)

About a year - over here they seek Certificates of Proficiency - A1 = very basic, A2, B1, B2 etc.

IMO, B1 can be achievable in one year with intensive lessons and practice. Search the Language corner of this forum for more info on grading / tests / certificates.

Re: Job on TV Station (Video Editor)

Don't forget the EBU. If a role does not fit you, you might want to try sending a spontaneous application.

The EBU Eurovision Operations Department is currently recruiting a Resource Engineer. If you are interested in applying for this position, please send you curriculum vitae to jobs@ebu.ch quoting "Resource Engineer"

Yes, EBU, I know EBU, the channel that i used to work, is cooperating with EBU.
But EBU have base in Geneva... The mother tongue is Frence... !!
I will begin German Lessons

Thanks... i will send my CV now!!

I want to ask something else. The Swiss companies require some proof of knowledge of German? I mean, if I can speak and understand the language, i need a degree of German to work?

Thanks

Can you help me about some websites from Switzerland to search jobs (specialized for media - Tv Channels) Video editor ?
