The real question is, why do you need to know? Most people consider financial information to be extremely personal, kind of like religion and who you voted for in the last election.

HM Revenue and Customs....right?
Right
Why do people get so sensitive about this subject anyway? They're supposed to be taxed in CH, and not in the UK, as CH tax residents anyway? And if in the UK, then it's only an issue if they don't declare these bonuses there which they're obliged to declare? Do I understand it correctly?

Well it's cultural, like everything else really.... It's just considered profoundly uncouth to discuss money like that, but from my point of view it also assumes we all work in the same sort of role. You should also know that most here don't consider themselves expatriates (even though they are) and certainly aren't on expat contracts.

And of course, if you don't live in the UK and you don't derive income from the UK, then you don't pay tax in the UK.

Well, that's why I didn't ask amounts but % only.
Anyway, I assume people that don't want to disclose may just ignore the question, right? Without trying to propagate the holiness of their sacred holidays. Or, which is even "better", their cultural issues in a wrapper of their religious issues
Besides, there is a list of other similar topics just in the bottom of this page

I'm occupied in Finance and I got around 5% That is in addition to the 13th salary which as I understood is quite a standard.
5% is a tip, not a bonus

a 13th salary is - if you are taxed at source - a malus because you pay more tax than when having your yearly salary split in 12

Hello?! I come from an Orthodox country and we don't celebrate Catholic Christmas, so just a usual WE for me. I assume the people who worship this religious holiday are supposed to spend it with their loved ones instead of browsing internet and bashing someone with their righteous anger
Orthodox Christians don't celebrate the birth of their Saviour ?

Hehehe true. on 120k it works out at 500chf per month, except you're right - bonuses and 13th months are taxed to hell.

I'm not lucky, I just worked exceptionally well. I understood that no one else got the bonus in my department.
Just to consolate you even more - I got a pay rise for the next year too. And I'm on a temporary contract, believe it or not
You're not a humble person. Chill out.

But, of course, it's not all bad -- if you submit a tax return, you should get a refund, sometimes in less than two years.

If you only received 5% I'd question what you're not doing to make sure you receive more. Clearly you're not demonstrating enough drive or perhaps even dedication and your paltry "bonus" is your superiors telling you something.

You assumed you were worth more and you're not. What does that tell you?

I hope for your sake your "bonus" isn't stretched over three years as it is for those who receive more generous incentives, as you'll be needing it.

Maybe the 5% was a favour from a boss who fancies you and would like you to keep needy and close. You never know, eh?
