| | The cushiest jobs in Switzerland
I swear I am fed-up working long hours with very short breaks when I see so much action from EF members supposedly at work on here & Swiss who have long lunch breaks & are never there when you need them (or take bloody ages to do anything).
I wonder what jobs I could do then (apart from being a media consultant) where I could sit around twiddling my thumbs & popping off for half a day trip for lunch of & course with very little responsiblity for myself.
I've no problems with interviews & well qualified but I am still searching a position where if possible I can be on permanent 'standby' just like members on here. What jobs are you actually doing?

Why don't you try to move to France. even more relaxing there ( 35 hour week, lots of RTT, long weekend, strikes etc...) unless you work for telecom or the post obviously.

Transition - perhaps you just need to work smarter at your current job?

I would suggest becoming a professional footballer, they work about 1 day a week, and train about 2 mornings a week. Downside is, you'd only be able to command a salary of about 60-120k chf per week, so it may not be worth it. Not sure you can live in Zurich on that unless you are single.

I want to work in a Swiss library. The one where I live only opens at 10am, closes for 2 hours for lunch, closes very early on the eve of public holidays and doesn't open on Monday morning.
