Thanks for posting these, it's good to see that they're quoting salaries pretty much in line with what's discussed here as an adequate salary to live on and what to expect.
What I don't get is why they're quoting weekly salaries (presumably netto), you would have thought they'd take the trouble to convert them to brutto monthly salaries for easier comparison... | The following 3 users would like to thank neddie for this useful post:

I'm pretty sure those are gross monthly salaries with e.g. minimum 42 working hours a week. For instance, in my job contract there's similar number of weekly hours.

The numbers refer to the hours per week worked (Std = Stunden) Salaries quoted are minimum gross monthly!
GAV = Gesamt Arbeits Vertrag = General Working Contract

Granted that these figures are realistic, I learnt something today. I should stop bitching and moaning about my salary. Tomorrow back at work bright eyed and bushytailed with smile across my face. Thank you boss | The following 4 users would like to thank jacek for this useful post:

I am continually amazed when speaking with ordinary workers whom accept their rôle in Switzerland and are not interested in joining a union. They all hope to be the boss one day and earn that 100,000 per year.

Gulp. Was it not obvious that I was joking? Even after I made reference to the EF "is this salary enough" discussions ? Doh.
I just thought it was funny that it listed loads of salaries without explaining what it meant by salary.
