a gap in the CV

Hi,
I have been looking for a job now for over a year. Mostly been applying in German and have "Berufliche Standortbestimmung" in my CV for the time i have been looking for a job.

I am now making changes to my CV in English and i guess i need to mention the gap somehow there also. What could that be in English? Professional positioning sounds so weird...

Thanks for the help!

Re: a gap in the CV

Thanks, i will use that word then. Lets see what they think about it...I know i have to explain it every time, thats ok.

And thanks for the link. It was interesting to read a different contents in English and German. In Germany it does not really seem to exist: "In Deutschland ist etwas derartiges jedoch noch nicht in den Arbeitsalltag integriert."
