Re: RAV question
Dont sign a letter of "ending the contract under mutual agreement". Who needs it ?
RAV asks questions, why you did not just keep your mouth shut, and stay in the job, while looking for a new job, if you were THAT unhappy. A future employer suspects something is wrong, and I have 1 former colleague, who thought a mutual agreement would be better, than having been fired. Checking his references was a very short call ending with "ok, I know enough. Thanks, Bye", said by his potential new employer.
Re. Registering for RAV: Do it as soon as you even suspect, you MAY loose your job, and start searching immediately. They may happen to have a new job for you. I actually got an Interview through RAV, but unfortunately it did not work out.
It also shows them, you try, and should anything be unclear, there is more time to sort any issues out.
I lost a job within 2 years of getting here, and needed a form from UK, where there was a 2 month waiting list to get it. That was a VERY tough time, and you dont want to fall behind with all your bills for 2 month without getting a rappen. Register with RAV when you suspect you will loose your job.
Doc.
