Hello,

I'm hoping someone may be able to give me an idea if it is AT ALL possible to find a job for an English speaking school teacher (trained as a Physical Education & Health teacher, but could also teach English, Science, Maths or Music) WITHOUT any german knowledge.

I have a friend from Australia who wants to come to Switzerland but as she is too "old" to pursue the Au-pair avenue, the only chance of a visa would be to have a job lined up.

Is it totally hopeless to look for jobs at English/international schools in the Zürich area without any german???

International schools without German is perfectly fine if the rest is up to the school standards/wishes. They probably won't even ask about German anyway.
