Some advice needed on the Job front.

Hey all!

I am a 23 year old woman who is currently seeking employment in Lausanne. Just arrived here 3 days ago and not quiet sure where to start! Also I currently only speak English but I am going to be taking French classes. My partner is French and has been helping me quiet a bit but it's still a work in progress. I have my qualifications in Personal Training and Gym Instruction but I have worked extensivley in Hospitality managing cafes and also a couple retail outlets in Australia. Another concern of mine is the work permits. I hold 3 passports American, Australian and British. Not sure how this affects my working ability! Any help on these issues would be greatly appreciated!

Warm Regards,

Jade

Hi Jade

Welcome to Lausanne If you want to meet some ladies I hold a stitch 'n' bitch on Wednesday evenings that you're more than welcome to attend.

On the job front I'm not much use I'm afraid... What permit type do you have? This will impact on your ability to get a job here.

Anybody with a British passport should have no problems getting a
work permit here. Finding a job is the hard part, especially without
French in Lausanne.

Perhaps search http://www.jobscout24.ch for jobs in your field.
