A quick update to try and install some hope into those of you finding it difficult.

My wife starts her new job on the 30th may with one of the big multi-nationals. all be it with a 1 year fixed term contract, but that's enough for the foot in the door, some very good experience and a senior Swiss reference. This has been largely down to her willingness to succeed, insatiable drive and a lot of self assurance.

You do have to tolerate many things along the way which you'll think "that's not right at all" to, but don't give up folks. Keep on fighting for what you want.
