Bogus Job Offer? Totalcare 015

I opened up my email account this morning and was welcomed with a job offer from a company I've never heard of.

Does anyone know of Totalcare 015? Is it a scam (which I believe it is)? Have you received a similar email?

Here's a copy:

Their email address: total care 015 dot gmail dot com

I got the same email. Even if it wasn't a scam as such (eg you pay them money first) the offer sounds fishy. The job title, duties and "Possibility for working without living your current job".

Hmm...

Work from home, no experience required. Does not sound like any "Branch Manager" position I ever heard of!

Never heard of the company but even if they are legit (i.e. multi-level marketing rather than out-and-out scam), such blatant flexibility with the truth in a job ad says something about the people they expect to hire.

Scam (and not a very well executed one, either).

Thank you for bringing it to everyone's attention.

I got it too this morning, to my spam address, not to my normal address which I would use for any serious correspondence. Therefore this email immediatly was deleted, I also think its a scam.

They will want you to receive payments and forward them on less your commission. It's called money laundering.

I got one of those today too. First I've ever had but you'd have to be pretty dim to think it was anything other than a scam.

...and do you really think they will send you their money ???

The is an old scam, they send you a dud cheque drawn on an overseas bank , the funds take ages to clear and eventually the cheque bounces. In the mean time you have sent them a cheque back less your commission.

Actually they ask you to accept payments for them from "clients". These are actually payments from stolen cheque books or online accounts that they have managed to hack into.

They ask you to forward on the money to them, less 10 or 20% as your commission. A week or month later or so the sending bank comes to you for the money back as it was paid to you fraudulently. Usually your bank will just return the money without argument leaving you with nothing, or worse, very overdrawn.

Re: Bogus Job Offer? Totalcare 015

I've received one as well. Read it but went straight down to the bin.

Good to know a bit more detail on the scum from someone who'd burnt their fingers.....

It's very tempting to put your hands on the stuff like this, especially when you're desperate looking for a job (I'd been in the situation for quite some time until quite recently), to be honest.
