As I understand it, until you have been a member for seven days (and have made more than ten posts, but you can tick that box already!), you'll be restricted to four private messages a day.

This is to prevent people from joining up and sending dozens of spam messages to members.

My GF works in the hospitality industry her CV is just a one page breakdown of past employers, school quals etc...

What's really important is the zeugnisse. Testimonials from past employers on their letterhead paper, if they are good then that says it all.

As for my CV I just have a couple of phone numbers stuck at the bottom of page 2!

Golfpro, I totally agree, testimonials are really valuable for some employers, I haven't figured out yet if it is in some trades or it depends on ways that people hire...
