Dental Hygiene - Organisations/Advice for finding work in CH

I can see that this forum is a little outdated, but, I hoped I can give it a jump-start!

I am also a RDH living in America with hopes of working in a Swiss or German dental office.
My hopes would be for a program that could allow me to practice my most profound hobby, the German culture and language, all while practicing dental hygiene.

If it were to be for one month, six months, or even one year, it would be a tremendous opportunity for me to learn the culture, the practices and meet the great people throughout the region.

If anybody would have any suggestions, ideas or could point me in the right direction, I would be very happy to investigate!

Thank you kindly and I look forward to your response!

Re: Dental Hygiene - Organisations/Advice for finding work in CH

Hi,
The Swiss Dental Association has a job placement service. Go to www.sso.ch (f you can read German) or write to them at jobs@sso.ch You will need to pay a small fee to be placed on their list, and you will receive the lists of offices, which have positions available.
Alternatively, you can go to www.idpszuerich.org, which is the local international dental hygiene association. They often have jobs advertised on their site, as well.
Good luck!
