Hi guys!!!

I have one specific question. My friend from EU country now is in Scotland at special underwater machine manipulating cources. In real life he is technical diver (3 years experience). Is it possible to find to him job as a technical diver in Switzerland or here it isn't popular? Analysing Swiss market I found many sites which offers special cources for the pleasure diving. Maybe somebody working at this area and can give advise, that to do.

Switzerland doesn't have nearly as many underwater drilling rigs as the North Sea. And while there are a few professional divers in the Military as well as various Police (and possibly Firebrigades) forces I believe that such positions are reserved to Swiss citizens.
I'd try companies like Transocean, who are specializing in underwater explorations. They are based in Switzerland, but have activities worldwide.

He could also try landing a job as a TechDiving teacher - the Swiss love scuba diving.

We had a idea about hydroelectric stations which are many in Swiss. Someone must to offer technical services to them.

www.taucharbeiten.ch seems to be a company specializing in TechDiving in CH. According to a PDF on Berufsberatung.ch (search for "Berufstaucher" and ".ch", first hit) there are about 10 companies in the German-speaking part of Switzerland specializing in professional diving (apart from diving schools, that is).
