Re: Is CHF120K a good salary in Switzerland? I think this is now well and truly off-topic so I'll close it before it wanders even further. |

Re: Is CHF120K a good salary in Switzerland? You know it would have been interesting if this also took into account age groups along with the salaries and family size. Never the less... GOT TO GET TO UPPER CLASS! |
Re: Is CHF120K a good salary in Switzerland? Nobody was even posting on this thread for over 10 days?! |

Re: Is CHF120K a good salary in Switzerland? Well, considering it's about twice the national average, the answer would have to be YES! Tom |

Re: Is CHF120K a good salary in Switzerland? It depends on what you do, and how long you've been doing it. For shop clerks and hairdressers it's perhaps not so easy. Tom |

If you got + 5 years experience in IT (specially in Swiss companies) + couple of certificates and just a diploma, you would be looking at +100k easily |

Re: Is CHF120K a good salary in Switzerland? [QUOTE=Mowvich;1214976]Junior IT support with just a diploma and a first experience would be 75k to 90k, while a 10 year experienced HR with Uni degree would be about the same. Yes I agree with you Mowvich, We don't need to have a high university degree in order to get a high salary... |
Re: Is CHF120K a good salary in Switzerland? When i say something i say it with a reason. When i started looking for Zurich (1 year ago), 120k was the average value for 7 years of experience in IT in Zurich. I have that kind of income plus health insurance with 300 chf excess and other perks. One friend of university that came in 2005, he says to me. Guy you have been tricked. 150k chf is the least for recent graduates (but he came in 2005). Last week, i know a 24 year recent graduate in economy that is moving and he got plus 120k (13 instalments and not 12) plus 3 month paid temporary house and a huge annual bonus. That is why i asked...... If we look to ads the values are lower than 100k. But when i talk to people here and they have 3000 apartments, eat beef a lot, going to ski every weekend the 120k seems the pretty low standard.... |
