Sunday has no particular reputation at present
FPGA ASIC Verilog, Xylinx Hardware Engineer

I work in the UK for as a Hardware engineer. I use FPGA, ASIC, Verilog, Xylinx as part of my job.

I am thinking of moving to Zurich.

Can someone help me understand the job opportunities in my area around Zurich. Who are the employers well known in Zurich in my area?

In comparison with FPGA opportunities in Oxford and Cambridge, how can we rate the job opportunites for my area in Switzerland (if not particularly in Zurich)

many thanks for your help

VHDL is much more commonly used in Europe than Verilog. So adding it to your skills will increase the chances.
In Switzerland the job offers for FPGA and digital ASIC designers are rare.
Just try the various job search engines you may find on this forum to see how it looks like - e.g. compare the ratio of interesting ads to ads with "Java", "SAP" etc and you will see how (few) digital h/w design jobs are available.
