The best job search portal

What do you think, which job search portal is the best?
What do you think about www.indeed.ch? It collects ads from a lot of the job search engines in one place.

I'm partial to jobs.ch
Well sorted categories, listed chronologically, and if you click on the posting company it also gives you the chance to see where they are located on a map.

I like http://www.jobup.ch/en/ - good advanced search function, the only downside I've found is that even if you put in 'part time' it still sometimes throws up full time posts.

I really don't like http://jobtic.ch/Jobtic/home.php?Lan=4 - whenever I try and use it it will do a search and return x results, but it only displays the first 25 and there doesn't seem to be a way to go on to the next page... very badly designed.

I like the way Indeed does that, but I have not found it to be great in terms of defining search criteria. I have criteria set up for several different combinations of job title and location, and it regularly seems to "lose" one of them, meaning that either I have to redefine the criteria or, worse, that I don't notice that they have disappeared and potentially miss seeing the corresponding jobs.

Re: The best job search portal

One of the key factors is the type of job that the company advertise. What may suit one person may be less relevant for another.

The best option is to try a few and see which ones provide the most relevant results. The site with the most vacancies listed is not necessarily the best. If their search facility doesn't allow you to sort to a sufficient level you may be overloaded with details.

If you have a more specialised profession it may be better to find an agency that deals just with that sector. You may get less possible jobs but they should be more relevant.

I found my job through jobs.ch. Very nice site, got the job done.

I would rate www.stellen.ch equally effective. The only set back is there is no proper sort feature in the site.

Do you know better sites than
www.indeed.ch
www.jobrapido.ch
?

I use indeed.ch and LinkedIn.

They are all more or less the same, show much the same jobs on offer, but I suppose it depends on what you are looking for.
For me the best are print.de and medienjobs.ch, they have a few pearls in a sea of Kudzu every now and then. Not that anybody wants to employ you after 50 but I go through the motions.
