Working for Cablecom

Hi all,
I would like to get some advices on the salary market.
How much a person working in IT as a "Business Intelligence Coordinator/Analyst" could earn?
I have 8 years of IT experience and 4 of them in Switzerland. Don’t ask me about my previous salary in Switzerland since I worked for an IT provider company, so I was exploited.

Job description:
Ensure adequate involvement and participation of Business Intelligence in the company´s projects
Evaluate the impact of company projects on Business Intelligence
Gather reporting and analysis business requirements
Ensure that data are integrated in the BI platform

It requests:
University/FH degree
English

It is a permanent position.

If anybody in the forum works for Cablecom, do they provide bonus?

MAIN QUESTION: What is the expected salary?

Thanks in advance

Re: Working for Cablecom

I can not really help you with the salary question but as far as I know, Cablecom does pay bonus based on an agreed structure that consist of your contribution, the firm's performance and your specific division/department.

Good luck with the whole process.

Re: Working for Cablecom

search around on the forum. scroll down the page to get similar questions. you will find an answer in there. it all depends on who, what , where, when, etc etc so you will get a ballpark at best

Re: Working for Cablecom

Hi Anthony1406
Thanks, I had checked the forum however I'm not sure about the amounts. I have been working for an abusing IT provider for such a long that paid 84’000CHF in Zurich (with 8 years IT experience).

I started asking for 110’, although I have the feeling that it is still too low. I don’t have friends who are open enough to give me a proper answer and this forum is my last choice. If you or anyone in the forum is able to guide me I will be highly grateful.

Note: I know that salary for women is lower than for men.

Thanks!

You do know that BI is rarely actually IT, right? There are IT elements in reporting, naturally, but the primary role of a BI member (in most organisations) is not IT.

Re: Working for Cablecom

I fear you have blown your chance before you even begin, should anyone at cablecom see this thread it would be simplicity itself to identify you.
