RAV entitlement if seeking employment in UK
Hi. I've read various threads concerning redundancy & RAV, but I haven't seen a specific thread on this situation.
I'm facing the possibility of being made redundant in CH, but if this happens it's most likely I'll be seeking a new job back in the UK.
I've been fully employed since moving to CH 3 years ago, with over 20 yrs of service in the same company (in various international locations). I have a local CH contract and B permit.
In this scenario, would I be entitled to still claim RAV even though my efforts will be directed towards finding new employment outside CH. Do I have to retain residence in CH to qualify and will I lose this entitlement if I move the family back to the UK after the terms of my current contract are served.
