How good is your French or Italian? The best place to look or advertise in Romandie, the French speaking part of Switzerland, is the Weekly newspaper 'Terre et Nature'. No idea if it has an equivalent in the German speaking part.

What are you looking for specifically?
(Ask GrumpyGrapefruit nicely and he might be able to help you. He has a farm.)

As in you want to work on a farm?
sometimes the best way to learn the local language is to go and work without speaking the local language. you would be amazed how quickly you learn. ( I did this in costa rica without speaking a word of Spanish) after 3 days the difficulty was much much less

This might be blatantly obvious, but in case you weren't aware, most Swiss cows are fairly fluent in four European languages and the ones grazing near major tourist spots also have a smattering of Japanese and Korean as well.
They can also take group photographs if asked nicely.

Just wear a bell around your neck as it's the international language for 'hey, I'm a cow!' I spent some time in the boonies today so forgive me...

Are you looking for an English-speaking farm or firm? In which field (literally or not) is your specialty or expertise? |

It might be difficult to find an English-speaking farm (or firm as the case may be), since farms usually do not speak.
