Understanding the market

Hello Worker Bees,

I wanna be clear about the following topic. Can someone answer the following for me:

1. Does a fresh B-Permit tie a person to an employer?

2. If it does, then how long a person has to stick to that employer for?

3. Does it change anything if this person is from EU?

4. What if that person is not from EU?

5. What criteria makes the Swiss government issue someone a 1 year (or 5 year permit)?

6. I know that a contract position pays more and a perm position is more stable but Will you consider a perm role as opposed to a contract role in Suisse and why?

7. Do people switch jobs quickly in Switzerland or do they stick and grow within an organization?

What are your thoughts?

Thanks in advance
