I am looking for contacts in ABB - Switzerland, responsible for hiring Sales Engineers / Product Managers / Buyers ( Asia Sourcing). I am a Mechanical Engineering graduate & MBA ( International Business) from India with over 8 yrs of experience in Sales & Marketing of engineering components.

Any leads will be highly appreciated.

Since no one has come up with any leads, I will be thankful if someone could let me know the names of agencies who help non EU people to get a suitable job in Mechanical Engineering field in Switzerland.

Er ... speaking as an ABB guy, we do have a website and there is a contact form there. There are also listings with open positions. Same as all other large companies really. HR don't like it when you try and bypass the official system. You only cause extra work. Nobody likes extra work. People who cause extra work don't get you much sympathy from HR. If HR don't like you, you won't get a job. So why not use the system that is provided?

Because I wager many people know someone who found a job through alternative means such as networking or family or the like. Going back to my high school years, many of the jobs I've had have been through connections. I was qualified for the jobs, of course, but the connections help me stand out from all the other qualified candidates.

OP, worth a try I guess, but I personally would be hesitant to recommend a candidate to my employer that I had never met and didn't at least have something like same university or mutual friends.
