advice needed for nanny hiring in CH

Hi guys,

We were dumped by the nanny we hired before she even started to work. Now, we need a bit of advice regarding the contractual data for the next hire:
1. what is a reasonable notification for contract cancelation on either sides?
2. is generally AHV included in the 'per hour' agreement?
3. if the payment is done monthly, do we have to include or exclude the eventual sick days? What about kids vacations?
4. any further advice we may need to consider in order to be somehow protected and to have a smooth relation with the future nanny?

thanks in advance,

Mihai

If the person you hire has no other clients then you are employing her. Your questions indicate you are not is a position to do this without help. Contact a "Treuhand" or similar business professional to advise you.
