RAV payments

Do you know when RAV pays ? I should receive some money for August, but we have end of September and i still got nothing. Is it normal?

I've sent them filled out form in July and August (after 25th), for July i had penalty, but for part of August i should receive some money.

I show up regularly at RAV office and i have conversation with berater, and i thought everything is fine. I don't want to call them and ask 'where is my money'

So do you know is something is wrong or is it normal? How long do you usually have to wait?

Re: RAV payments

I'd call the Kasse if I were you. From memory, they seem to be incredibly slow informing you if they are missing a piece of information (missed signature or missing salary slip) so being proactive might bring the money in a bit quicker.

You should. And don't feel bad about it. You need your money and you're entitled to it. At least you should get a reason for it not being there.

From memory though, my RAV payments (Basel) came quite late in the month - I think it was around 27-28th.

When I was on a language course, it was even later. It was the first few days of the following month so that they could process the attendance forms from the school.

Re: RAV payments

Definitely call. They won't mind and there might be a problem. One month they managed to lose the form that I sent back so they were waiting for it, I'd posted it and assumed it had arrived and entered into their system. Or maybe you forgot to sign the piece of paper...
