Quite some significant bens @ my place incl. Cappucino and Lattes until 4pm. This can be location dependent
My faves apart from coffee are the possible bonus, pension contribs, subsidized canteen, insurance policy rebates and subsidized ZVV card amongst other lesser used bens.

Meanwhile, I get:
A 200 m2 vegetable garden, and a home for our (surviving) rabbit.
Use of the machine shop, and all the aluminum I can use.
A large, private office with a great view that I can leave as messy as I like.
Several free motorcycles.
A place to park the broken Panda and my friend's motorcycle trailer.
The list goes on.

We get free water and coffee. Last year, for the first time in the 50 years history of the office, we actually made an evening with the bosses for eisstockschiessen, which turned out to be fun and harmless enough to make bosses promise another round this winter. That's pretty much it.
On the other hand, around X-Mas, we get so many presents from the companies that we work with, I actually feel like Santa Claus when I bundle the whole thing and get home on the last working day of the year. Last year I got a gorgeous parmesan and a delicious... what's the name of this big italian X-Mas cake? Panatone?
I'm a glutton...

Working at the university we get discount on laptops and programs like MS office and adobe for free. The sports centre offers lots of different sports for a small fee.

We get a good package including all the coffee, tea, hot chocolate as well as soft drinks (plus toilet rolls that you can use on site ), discount car hire, discount laptop and other equipments plus subsidise lunch. AT least these are all the things that I can benefit from.

Come on we must be worth more than that!!
In terms of food chain Iīm up there quite a bit so I was looking for good ideas (not pickled onions ).
We are mostly ex-pats so must be worth something right? | | | | | Yeah, we are worth something. A good salary, good pension, and good bonus. But you said you didn't want to hear about those.....strange question to be honest?
You want a list of the things that aren't worth lots of money, but are worth something?? Is that right?
By the way.....what is your food chain comment about please?

I work in telecoms and we get staff rates, so our monthly phone bill for two mobiles incl. DSL + mobile data is always under or around 30 sfr a month.
The biggest benefit of our jobs is that they are close to home, so no time commuting and no transport costs.
In the office we have a huge fridge/freezer and kitchen + microwave so we can buy our food in Coop (just across the street) and make our own sandwiches or warm up food or cook microwave meals. I don't even have to walk back home :-)

To answer your questions...
The question related to benefits over and above salary and pensions , I thought that was clear since all of us will be in a pension scheme and therefore it is not strange.
I did not ask for a list of things that arenīt worth a lot of money! You need to read the post properly.
Food chain was referenced by someone else and is a common descriptor of say "pecking order". Do you need me to explain that too? | Quote: | | | | | Yeah, we are worth something.
