I'm trying to figure out a likely salary for a VBA developer but all Swiss adverts seem to have no salary!

Please could you give me a ballpark figure for a UK engineering graduate with 2 years experience in UK blue-chip companies programming in Excel and Access using VBA - (I've been working in finance departments of 2 big companies but not in the finance/banking industry if that makes sense)?

I'd be happy to move into banking/investment companies/hedge funds if that's realistic. (although I'm not intelligent enough for a quantitative analyst kind of role)

Sorry for the mercenary question - just need to make sure I can survive - my main motivation is massive amounts of skiing and mountain biking!
