Internship in Switzerland for non German speaker.

Hello.

I'm a Japanese university student who is looking for internship in Switzerland.

I am now studying at Zurich University of Applied Science (ZHAW) as exchange student like ERASMUS. After / during this program, I would like to do internship here in Switzerland.

The problem could be that I cannot speak German fluently. Even I'm learning for 1 year, it could be difficult to be fluent.

Furthermore, when I search about internship on the internet, almost all companies require advanced German skills.

Moreover, I would be happy to use my mother tongue, Japanese for my internship. But, this is not mandatory condition for me.

If you know any company which is appropriate for me, I would be so appreciate.

Thank you!

Re: Internship in Switzerland for non German speaker.

Hello.

I am so glad to hear that. I have considerable interest in doing internship in Nomura or Mizuho Bank.

Indeed, I'm considering if I could be paid salary, and if it is flexible in terms of length of internship.

Actually I don't regard the salary thing as a crucial point of internship.

Furthermore, I would like to know how the work environment is, i.e. proportion of employee's nationality and substance of work for internship.

Incidentally, May I ask your nationality?

Best regards,

Haru
