Studienrichtungsleitung CAMERA ARTS

I'd like to try applying for this job.

It doesn't seem to tell you what needs to be included. I assume a cover letter and a CV. Is there a "standard" job application package in Switzerland? I've been advised to call them. Do most people prime potential employers before sending applications?

Thanks!

Yes-but the academic world is different. In addition to the usual Cover Letter, CV, photo, certificates and stuff, you need to include two or three LoR, a description of future research and teaching plans, teaching evaluations, and - for arts - a portfolio. If the latter is required for your job, I don't know, I guess it's best to call or email them.

Re: Studienrichtungsleitung CAMERA ARTS

To keep it simple (!) I would provide all documents/certificates etc, which prove that you fulfill the different points under "Ihr Profil".

Research is very important (legal mission of the Fachhochschulen-Universities of Applied Sciences) and even better, your publications on the subject.

...and of course age, nationality. permit in CH, command of german etc...

good luck
