I Have been working in Switzerland from July 1st '07. I'm an EU citizen with a EG EFTA "B " permit.
Unfortunatelly, things are not going as expected with my employer and I'm thinking to resign.

I was wondering if any of you know:
a) How long can I stay in Switzerland after resigning
b) Am I entitled for the unenployment insurance from the government? for how long?

I don't know about your (a) paragraph but in relation to (b), I think (I point out I only think, I am not sure) that you can only get unemployment insurance if you have worked in Switzerland for 12 or more months and it lasts for 12 months while having to be looking for employement every month.
