Are you happy at work??

Hi,
Now it has been a long time I am here but always feel that I am an alien in my team.
I have the knowledge, experience and knowhow in my own field.
My non auslander and colleagues from western part of the world are aware of this but what really bothers me that I am never appreciated for the good work...it just seems that it is my duty to deliver good work and adhere to the strict timings of the office hour..
Am I a machine??
Whereas my colleagues have the liberty of doing errors at work and I am here to fix the same....they can make harsh jokes at me but if I make some they are affended and escalate...
if I have cold and cough I am asked to go back and not spread germs but my colleagues cough to death but they make fun of the situation instead...
Sometimes I really feel why exactly I am here...money???social security???

This social discrimination at work is in a multinational company with people from all over and yet accepted and practiced openly..
I have seen people suffer miserably if they raise voice against this discrimination so fear the consequences of a direct protest...
Do you also feel the same??

document your issues with specific examples and raise the issue and have an honest conversation about it with your colleagues/boss/HR
