salary in the contract includes social charge?

Hi. Recently I got a new job offer and they mailed me the contract. With regard to the salary I have a question. I know that I and my employer will share the social charge (the pension, unemployment insurance...), and usually it is half-half between me and the employer, right? Then my question is, the salary declared in the contract, does it include the share of my employer too? Or saying in another way, do I have to first deduct from this declared salary BOTH my and the employer's share of the social charge? or deduct just mine (half)?

No, they will be an added to the cost of employing you, like in other countries!

Is the salary stated on net or gross terms.

You deduct just your half.

Also note that things such as taxes are deducted directly (if you are on Quellensteuer) so the sum you get payed will be less than what it says on the contract by Quellensteuer + your part of pension contribution plus AHV and similar charges.

It's gross. "betragt brutto pro monat (ohne Sozialzulagen)" in the contract.

Sozialzulagen might mean the child benefit, which is added to one's salary and the undergoes all the social, pension and tax deductions.
