Single young proffessional moving to Basel

Hi, I know I'm probably another with the same question, but I'd greatly appreciate your advice.

Brief intro: I've been financial analyst with big multinational (my first job) for 3 years now and recently got an offer to work in finance for another multinational in Basel. I was offered 110k plus benefits and bonus. I'm contemplating the move and therefore I'd appreciate your opinion:

1) Is 110k salary for 3yrs of experience ok, generous or too little?

2) I would have ca. 85k net yearly or 7k net monthly. Is 7k net enough or too little to have decent life (nothing extravagant: studio or 1br apartment, no fancy eating out every day... just a normal life of a single person).

3) How much, approx, should I provide for basic expenses. I thought about spending max. 1300 on apartment, and then another 2500 on food, insurance, internet, other expenses. Is it reasonable assumption?

Any help greatly appreciated!

Re: Single young proffessional moving to Basel

A friend of mine has about the same amount of experience, a German degree in Economics and a U.S. MBA, and he works in Zurich for a multinational company (think Jack Welch) as a sr. financial analyst raking in CHF 130K (which I think is utterly too much for him but I know him too well).
