Or you're really one of the mods posting inflammatory rubbish just to "spice" things up?

you can live with that income, tight, but you can
if you live in a village, the taxes and insurance are a bit lower and also the houses.

I just gotta say that its nice to see different kind of views. In the end its just another opinion and point of view. Nothing to get grumpy over.

Now that i jump-started this thread. Is a 90K salary still reasonable, 12 years later?
For 2 persons living in Zurich. Will you be able to save money and still have a decent life?

| | Re: 90k CHF - enough to live on?
I got job offer 5,500 per month on start around 70k a year with bonuses. I'm going in solo, might get apartment in Zurich thats around 1800, pref bigger then 35m2 so i can look for someone to live with me and share costs of it, i eat 2 meals per day and i like to cook em myself, i dont like buying much cloths i can go with same cloths for years before i buy new ones. Since i'm new there i wont have friends to go out get drunk and stuff. My biggest expense will be cigars . I wanna save up and invest, idk if i can accomplishe that but for sure i'll live better life then here in my country. Dad and me. 1 salary of 220 euros only. Barely surviving but we manage. For some ppl 90k is more then enough even if its 2 ppl or more. Myb u will go up the pyramid get more money or change job for some better paying one.

70k is the new 90k. And after the disorderly brexit of Theresa Maybe it will be 50k. |
