Re: Salary for Architect position

Depending on your experiences, the starting pay is likely 4k or above....you may request for more if you have experience and a good CV to back you >D

Happy hunting

Sorry, it is for Embedded systems. Not a building designer.

Re: Salary for [Embedded Systems] Architect position

Its probably around 120k, but I wouldn't expect anyone to get by on that

Actually I have no idea, but 4k per month doesn't sound that much at 100%

Protected title? haha. My area is full of people calling themselves architects with the main bullshitters being Enterprise Architects. In fact, I myself am an architect; a SAP Technical Architect.

I do design buildings, but only on tiny bits of paper when bored and in meetings with Enterprise Architects.

Hi,
What can be a salary expectation for an Architect position ?
worst salary question ever. spanning the gamut from someone who makes plans for buildings to someone who creates micro-processor designs.

What do you mean by 4k and above? 11k is also above 4k.

Anyways, I would expect it to be in the range of 100k and above.
Embedded Systems (Much interesting than banking but not banking) so won't expect those numbers like 120k

If you dont know then dont answer.
you're right specifying architect was too easy. maybe "what would be a salary expectation for a job in switzerland" would be more challenging.

yes. after it was edited.

if you want an sensible answer, more details might help.

salary for expectation for a fresh out of university ES programmer is quite different from a hardware engineer with 20 years experience of designing SoCs.

Come on, Come on please - stay with the program! Enterprise Architect is just so last year. It's a Solution Architect now. Anything more than 6 months on the job and your definitely one.

I'm sort of a solution architect in that I make a cup of tea in the morning. Apart from that I'm a bit thick, my mum says.

Solution Architect was popular in the early years of this millennium. Has it made a come back?

I 'own' a humble Master Architect, should I tell him that his buildings are so last century.....or simply leave him to his delusions (of grandeur)?

What is a SAP architect? I am a "normal architect" subscribed to Italian Professional Association and I have an identification card and a professional stamp ^^

Re: Salary for [Embedded Systems] Architect position

Why don't you just tell us the salary offered or the package and the location of the company as well as its size and business (telecommunications, transport, medical, ..?)

We might be able to help you better in assessing your opportunity.
