Unskilled work tips

Hello Ladies and gentlemen,

I am hoping to find work in and around St Gallen but i am a little lost on where to start. I do not speak good German (currently looking to sigh sign up for A2.2). Could someone please suggest on what sort of jobs I'd have a good shot at getting?

TIA

Many jobs can be performed in English in CH. Consider looking at the airport and in resort areas where English is an important language. Search internet job sites on "English", "Airport", "Housekeeping" and also "Hilfskraft". These are job boards might prove useful:

https://www.indeed.ch/

https://www.coople.com/ch/en/

https://www.liliput.ch/stellenmarkt

Good luck!

Would you also consider working in a private household? If so, the '24' suite of platforms are a good source:

Cleaning/Household help:
https://homeservice24.ch/en

Babysitting/Nannying:
https://babysitting24.ch/en

Senior Care:
https://seniorservice24.ch/en

Tutoring:
https://tutor24.ch/en

Pet Care:
https://petsitting24.ch/en

You can filter by area, as well as other criteria. You could also write an ad offering your services.

Be aware that many of these jobs will be part time or occasional.

If this kind of thing is not what you are looking for, perhaps you could tell us more about your experience and skills, as well as what you would like to do, so that we can come up with more relevant suggestions.
