If someone trolls on a forum with no mods will they get banned?

We don't always agree, you know. Otherwise we'd be rubbish.

You should see the grudges that come out during the mod mudwrestling sessions.

Re: Natural American Spirit company

As for working for a tobacco company....
My employer hosts the website (or actually various related websites) of one of these companies.
We always joke about changing the error-messages of the various HTTP-codes...

403 might be "Can't light-up here"
404 could be "Can't find lighter"
50xs could be "Your server has cancer and is dying."

Everybody agrees they could never work there, though.

But the real question is: is a tobacco-company "acceptable" as a customer?

Should the baker refuse to do business with the company? Should he refuse to do business even with the employees?
At what point does it become ridiculous?

Ironically, when I went to an Appple event back in 1983 (yes, they had money back then), they rented Disney Land (Anaheim). Great time, and yes we did jello and mud wresting on the side.

Still, the most bizarre was when I went for a job interview in Midland, and half of it was at a strip joint.

Tell us, Tom, what would make you happy to work for a tobacco company?

I don't know whether you smoke, nor do I care what personal lifestyle choices you make as long as they don't affect others (although smoking has more effect on others than you may realise); I'm just interested in knowing why you would be pleased to work for a company that sells tobacco and promotes (and encourages) its use.
Same reason that I'd like to work for a bacon company.

My great aunt made it to 102, my grandfather to 103, they both smoked.

It's all BS.

I know people who have driven at 170kmh on Swiss motorways. Speed limits are BS, they never enforce them.

Typical Aussie resposne.

Sorry, but I don't drink your kool-aid.

Meanwhile, we had half a dozen tobacco plants in the garden this year.

Next year, we'll go for 1000.

Oh, so it's less carcinogenic than unnatural, non-organic tobacco? How wonderful.
Or french fries...
Wait a sec...If the OP had said she wanted to work for McDonald's would it be as big of a deal as a tobacco company I am assuming all the bashing is coming from only non smokers or those oppressed by it.

No, I'm sure you get enough lethal toxins from your tobacco. You don't need to "drink anyone's Kool-Aid".
