I am invited to an interview for a postdoctoral position at Roche in Basel.

There is anyone who was already invited to such interview ? I am invited to give a talk and then it seems that I will receive have questions from scientists already working on Roche.

There is already someone who had interviewed at roche ? can give me more details please about such interview ? Moreover, have you an idea about the range salary for such position ?

I've got a full day of interviews, 10 people in total, 30 mins each, after giving a 1-hour a presentation to +40 people.

Applied online. Automatic rejection a month later. Even though, e-mail received 2 months later for an interview, to be held another 2 months forward.

All interviews were easy going, relaxed, some of them were just trying to convince me about how good is working there. Others just explained to me how they were organised, names, positions, roles, etc... just a few questions about my career, in general. After that, I believed that I got it.

One month later, en e-mail from HR asking me to call them! (weird).
They told me that everyone liked my profile, interviews, and everything.
But no offer.

Still don't know why.

Thank you for your response. The number of people attending for the presentation sounds more like conference, I thought it was just to a few members. I am nervous now.

It sounds weird for me too, normally companies tell you if dont get the position too. Maybe they were interviewing other candidates but it is odd.
