Re: Interviewing at Novartis

The thing I don't like about the Novartis employment site is that you can't check the status of your application after you've submitted it. I hate sending things off to an HR black hole but I don't know anyone who works in the relevant group.

Hi Paddy,

I'm sorry to hear that. I am still waiting for the result. They say it'll take 4 to 6 weeks. So hopefully this week or next week. I'll let you guys know when it happens. I still hope the best for you.
Have u heard yet. I still waiting for result from interviews at start of sep. In the third interview of the day, i was told job had already been offered to someone but they had called me in as there were other possibilities. The waiting is driving me and my family loopy.

i'd say, once you've done what you can, try to put it out of your mind and keep looking and lining up more interviews. you can find a back-up job, an even better job, or another job which can help negotiate/speed things up.

this will keep you occupied, and you never know, you might find something even better!

Why not use linkedin to contact somebody in the recruiting team to ask them some questions on the role? The benefit is that your application will then be less anonymous (even if you submit it via the anonymous online thingy afterwards anyway).
