Re: Swiss salaries

probably you are not married, such a question to a woman has only one answer NO! I am just joking, we need to know what to expect that is the reason I am asking the experienced to give their opinion (the more the better).

Depends on the number of kids. If 3+ thenyou're not going to save anything, no going for vacation, no nothing, just the essentials covered, no extra-curriculum paid activities for kids etc. You'll maybe just save up for the rental deposit.

Never mind... I should look at the dates of the post I'm replying to.

@akorn: if you cook your own meals and don't eat much meat, then you should be OK, and easily have at least 1k saved each month after groceries, cleaning/toilet etc supplies, clothing, fuel&ticket, electricity, internet and phones.

Re: Swiss salaries

hi guys
I received a contract from my company for new job position, while i work for them part time almost 2 years (10% hourly based). I think the salary that they proposed me is not at all good !
They propose me 62640 chf for annual salary, whereas i have got my phd now relevant to the job position. What do you think, i would like to negotiate but i do not know about the salary range for petroleum consulting company.
I appreciated to get your advice.
