Creating a temporary consultancy

I am between jobs based in GVA for 11 years. My new employer wants to hire me permanently within 6 months but while they set up their Swiss org, they want to pay me as a consultant in Switzerand asap.
I am a Frontalier.

I am looking a pay hosting / portage options.

Any better ideas?

Thanks.

Social insurance is the first thing that comes to mind. Sounds like you would start up as self-employed sole-proprietor. Take a look at this company. They offer a seminar that covers most of the topics you need. Their website also has a lot of good information.

They also offer turn-key web-based packages for starting up. Perhaps your client/employer should cover the cost for you:

Re: Creating a temporary consultancy

I have possibility to work on six month contract for the French company with presence in CH and their consultancy‘s manager mentioned a contract of Portage type. In the grand scheme of things, I have to give an answer by tomorrow 12am on the starting date, so I’m trying to find out as much info as possible about Portage employment kind. Is it a standard format of contract or every firm has their own scheme. Pros and cons?

No idea but since you need to make a decision soon, have a bump.
