Medical residency with an Irish medical degree.

Hi all,

A bit of a specific question. I'm a Swiss national (born and raised) and fluent in French (learning German but finding it tougher than I imagined ).

I am aware that EU degrees need to go through a validation process with MEBEKO at which point one is legally able to practice medicine in Switzerland. However, are residencies tough to come by, especially with Irish medical degrees? Has anyone with an Irish medical degree been successful in becoming a resident at a hospital in CH?

Thanks a bunch!

Oukka
