Migros salaries

How much do you think Migros pays for low skill or skillless employees?

You can say for both part time and full time.

This i'm talking about store employees not corporate.

Re: Migros salaries

FWIW Lidl and Aldi pay a little more. But there you're really expected to work for it.

A question of how hard you have to work for it.

Re: Migros salaries

Thanks for responses.

Wages are not bad, people can live modestly.

As much as i understand there is a performance element for wages so there is a flat rate and then it depends on "damn hard" work

I guess Migros gives a free bottle of champagne every now and then to motivate employees

Yeah but Denner is owned by Migros right?

So that's a policy thing.

How about German competitors?

In a low level position, you will certainly need to speak and understand the local language sufficiently well to inter-react with your colleagues....

In our local Migros, here in the outer skirt of ZH, it is Italian.

Nothing wrong at all with speaking Portuguese. Hard working people & very sociable. So no, it's not "that bad" but just a lot seem to work there. Was at a hotel in Valais last week & the staff there were predominantly Portuguese too.
