1 month contract CH living in DE

Hi,

So I was wondering how it will work...

I am getting arbeitlosengeld I in Germany, I got a contract in Switzerland. How it will be reflected in taxes? I mean how is it calculated? Or any tips what should i do in order not to be raped by Germany? ;o

You chose to live in Germany and get your employment money there. So yes, you will have to pay your taxes in Germany as well (as well as report that you are working that month). A percentage is deducted and the rest of the taxes you`ll have to pay in Germany

Ok but to who I have to pay this income tax, when? details?
Transportation costs are deducted from the tax?

Your employer will deduct the Swiss part, you declare your income in Germany on your tax income return
