RAV - Is it possible to get an unpaid leave of 2 months?

Hello,

Does anybody know if it is possible to make an unpaid leave in RAV during the official period of getting the support?
I'm talking about making a pause of 2 months and not requesting them to pay.

I checked but I could not find a link to prove this, however I heard that it is possible. If someone knows a link, that would be great too!

Thanks!

Generally, it is possible to take an "unpaid leave" from RAV by notifying RAV of this on a form. However, if the unpaid leave lasts for more than four weeks during the first three months of registration by RAV, the RAV job-seeker may be asked to de-register from RAV. See p. 169, para. B377 at this link:

The form is at this link and is called "Meldepflichtige Sachverhalte
Abwesenheit":

Hope this assists you!

That helps a lot! And if it is not at early stage of RAV registration, can one just fill that form in and it is by law his/her right to go for this unpaid leave? I mean can RAV say no to this?

Re: RAV - Is it possible to get an unpaid leave of 2 months?

Hello all,

Am wondering if someone can give me a light in the situation below.

Is it true that if i take unpaid leave for 1 week I will not receive any further punishments and of course inform them 2 weeks before that?

I am in the same situation.

Thanks a lot for your help.

Probably, I get the feeling you are not telling us the full story.
