Employment contract;advance notice; legally binding

Good evening

I've had a look in old threads but can't find anything along these lines. Hopefully someone can help me:

Is it legally binding when in an annex to the employment contract being signed there is an advance notice (Vorankündigung) that there will be changes in the following school year (i.e. contract for 2018/19). I understand this merely as information, i.e. by my signature I recognise that I have been informed however this does not mean, IMO, that I agree with the new conditions. These conditions are not in the newest contract I am signing as this is for 2017/18, it is only mentioned in the annex with advance notice.

Hope this explanation is not too convoluted

Thanks for your feedback.
