Re: RAV - regular appointment - what to expect?

A quick question regarding courses - the nice lady at the front desk couldn't help me so I've got to call my advisor in the morning, and I'm impatient, so...

It looks like I'll be attending an intensive German course for the next month. Obviously, such courses have an attendance requirement, which I intend to fulfil, especially as someone else is paying for it!

However, it's also possible that I might be offered work during the course of the course. Maybe one day, maybe a couple of days, maybe a week - who knows?

What are people's experiences when it comes to the RAV's requirements regarding prioritisation? Did they expect you to attend every single session of the course or to take the work?
The law is very clear, regardless of what your advisor says. Work always has priority over everything, courses or appointments.

Re: RAV - regular appointment - what to expect?

Another quick question.

2 months into Arbeitsbemühungen, how do you show your advisor progress made with interviews?

I've had phone interviews for a few of the jobs I applied for last month and 4 in-person interviews.

Do I carry over these jobs onto the next month with "interview" or "by phone" marked on the right or do I send him the confirmation email? I could also give him an updated Arbeitsbemühungen at our 1st meeting on Dec 1st when I am officially unemployed.

If you receive the info after the end of the month, then just keep a record for yourself. You may get asked at meetings about historical applications.

They've never asked for that in Neuchâtel, just the form filled out by the employer.
Ticino as well.

Anyway, we don't normally have salary slips here, just the end of year thing for the taxes.

What? You mean things are done differently in Ticino?
