Yet another "Job Advice" thread...

Hi All,

So a bit of back ground, I am 35 Single British national, doing a part-time MBA (Distant learning). I have been working in an Investment management firm for the past few years, prior to that I was working in healthcare. I have had jobs such as Project Manager, Senior Analyst and Business Analyst.

I came to Geneva a few weeks ago and traveled up to Lausanne and Vevey and absolutely fell in love with the place. I have now decided that I want to move to one of these places depending where I can get a job.
I have applied for some jobs at international/American investment banks in Geneva.

I would be most grateful if you can give any advice on how to secure a job, salary expectations, anything that you think may help.

I have already read a lot of threads on here and am slowly making my way through the archive.

Thanks in advance for all your help.

It would be very helpful if you could find a job then get the rest of us in the back door, please. As in giving a job to fellow EFs, not so that we can practice our Gingerbread Man Shrek skills & rob the place.
